Chi-Town Artist Matt B Chats on Inclusivity of Being Unique

Matt B has received acclaim internationally, but he is now focusing his attention stateside under the tutelage of Rhymefest. The Chicago born and raised artist, started his raise to fame with Japanese record label, StarBase Records in July 2014 after being discovered on YouTube. With them, Matt B released several albums and singles that reached number one on the charts.

With an eclectic, soulful sound, the Chi-town artist has been fortunate to work with some of the top producers in the industry, which include nine-time Grammy Award-winning producer Bryan-Michael Cox, as well as Grammy-nominated producers Donnie Scantz and Mark Byrd, to name a few. To date, Matt has over 1.1 million plays on Apple Music and 1.4 million plays on Spotify.

Not only is Matt B an accomplished musician, but he does plenty of philanthropic attributes in the community. Recently, Matt B has been on a holiday tour where he performed Christmas music and delivered toys to children at charities, hospitals, orphanages, homeless shelters, and toy drives.

I was amazed by this phenomenal young man that I had to interview him when his publicist reached out.
