Since California passed Senate Bill 188 known as the CROWN Act, becoming the first state to provide expanded discrimination protections for natural hair, other states have followed suit — New York, New Jersey, and now a proposed bill in Kentucky.
We have heard how many naturalistas feel inspired by the CROWN Act, but I wanted to get a professional view on the bill, as well as other matters when it comes to natural hair, from a hair care professional.
